Last season Ski Utah and Red Ledges asked us to create a video featuring one of the many benefits of living at the amazing Red Ledges community. We wanted to capture the fun and excitement of a day of skiing at nearby Deer Valley Resort followed by apres back at Red Ledges with friends and family with the spectacular views of the Wasatch Range and Mt Timpanogos as a backdrop.
During the 2021-22 ski season Powder Mountain asked us to create their primary promotional video for the 2022-23 season. We worked with their marketing department to develop a script highlighting the story the Powder Mountain team wanted to tell. We then developed a look and a storyboard…then we waited for snow and weather conditions to cooperate. The end result is hopefully a video that captures the beauty, the uniqueness, and the family friendly atmosphere of this Northern Utah gem.
It has been so amazing working with the Red Ledges team developing video and photo content to promote this premiere community nestled in the hills of Heber Valley, Utah. Here is a sample of some of the videos we’ve helped create highlighting why Red Ledges is such a special place to call home.
Deer Valley is working hard to mitigate the threat of wildfire on the slopes of its mountains. Working with state and local agencies, as well as the Park City community, they have developed a robust annual plan that is now a benchmark for other ski areas in Utah. Thanks to Deer Valley for letting me capture this effort throughout the various seasons, and thanks to Steve Graff, Deer Valley’s Vice President of Mountain Operations, for his good humor and patience.

This season’s snowfall has been erratic to say the least, but it doesn’t mean we’re not out there trying to make the best of it. Deer Valley Resort epitomizes this mentality as their grooming team works hard to keep their ski runs at the world class level skiers have come to expect from North America’s top rated resort.
The first video was created to show what the grooming team does between when the last chair stops and the first chair spins in the morning. We were directed to try and capture the beauty of the night grooming, and we did our best to do just that.
This second video features Two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Ted Ligety for a quick promo for Deer Valley Resort.
This video is the latest one in our series with Ski Utah and Hestra Gloves loosely themed "life quality." It sums up this desire for balance and generosity while leading a life that has meaning. The video has been incredibly received, and we’ve loved the positive comments:

Recently we’ve created several motion graphics advertisements for Salt Lake City based Uinta Brewing. This short ad was created to run in theaters on the big screen. It has been an honor to work with Uinta, especially since we have long been fans of their products and their eye-catching branding. Forget the map, pack the Uinta!
Tyler and Dillon Green asked me to create a new video for the updated Cache Basecamp System v2.0, so we got together on a sunny, chilly day and had a fun time creating this new video. I’m wishing them all the best with this popular new update. You can check out their products at Cache.
This is the latest in our ongoing series with Hestra and Ski Utah in which we feature a Utah local who values quality of life and an outdoor lifestyle. This video features Hestra and Salomon athlete Drew Petersen.
Earlier in the year we enjoyed working with KJUS to shoot their 2021-22 Winter Collection Brand videos at Deer Valley Resort. We’re now happy to see the videos being put to use to promote the KJUS brand. The shoot was a success due to the tremendous amount of help from the DV crew, the KJUS marketing team, Eric Schramm Photography, as well as the amazingly talented Ted Ligety, Chris Pearson, and Dairrin Bowers.
As a 5x medalist at the XGames, 2x World Champion, Amazing Race finalist and co-owner of the recreational trailer company, Escapod Trailers, Jen Hudak has always had an adventurous spirit. This video for Hestra Gloves and Ski Utah peeks into Jen's daily rituals of mom life, entrepreneurship, and sharing her love for the mountains with her husband and young son. We even convinced Jen to hit the halfpipe at Woodward Park City. Thanks to Jen & Chris for their time and patience. This is a video I’ve wanted to make for a few years now. We love making videos and we do love enjoying cocktails with friends, so when it came time to do some camera and editing pre-production tests it seemed like the perfect excuse to make this video. It might not feature skiing or the outdoors, but we’re very happy with the end result. Cheers!
